Hi everyone!

Okay...this message is a long one! 193 seconds! A doozer....but it is a busy busy week!

Here are the highlights from the call that will come home on Sunday Oct.27 at 7:30 pm

1.) LICE- please be sure to be checking your children every week. We have had recent cases and need all parents to be assisting with frequent checks.

2.) LEAVES- Leaves need to stay on the ground, just like snow and rocks at school. Often we find dog feces, broken glass and other undesirable items in the leaves so we need parent support to tell their children NOT to play in them.

3.)DOGS- at no time should DOGS be coming in or on school property. There is district policy on this and also bylaws with the City Of Kamloops. Parents, I would ask no matter how big or small, all dogs remain off school property.

4.) Monday is SCHOOL LIBRARY DAY IN CANADA. We will celebrate with a Drop Everything and Read event from 11-11:20.

5.) Tuesday Mrs. McLean/Hawkings classes are off to the Pumpkin Patch for a field trip.

6.) Wednesday is REALLY BUSY! Recognition Assembly at 9 am, YPC Concert at 10:45, Big Buddy Afternoon and then Family Math Night 6-7 pm.

7.) OCTOBER 30th is the deadline for LIFETOUCH PHOTO ORDERS. Please submit to teachers.

8.) Thursday is BLACK and ORANGE DAY! be as black and orange as you can be! PAC PIZZA LUNCH is also this day if you ordered!

Mrs. Gottfriedson and Mrs. Gustafson are off to the Tranquille Farm for a field trip. They leave right at 8:30 so please be early for school.

Intermediate Dance for Gr.4-7! (during school hours)

9.) Starting NOVEMBER 1~ please leave all candy at HOME! No sweet treats should be coming to school please. Children can indulge with their Halloween candy after 2:30, but not during school hours. Please pack healthy lunches as per always. Candy is not a snack, nor is it lunch.

10.) Next PAC Meeting is November 4th at 6:30 pm in the library. Babysitting is always available.

11.) Remember to return COBRA CLOTHING ORDERS with payment. Amanda will collect orders until the beginning of November. Samples will be on display at the next PAC meeting.

12.) THEME FOR THE WEEK

"People will forget what you said,  people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

We will discuss this with the kids this week!
