Hi Everyone,

The following messages will be called home to parents at 5 pm on Sunday September 29th:

1.) Any parents who will be acting as Volunteer Drivers need to come see Mrs. Scharien in the office to have your driver's license and insurance papers photocopied and kept on file.

2.) SCHOOL ART CARD Fundraiser starts this week with children beginning their designs. Please talk to your child as to whether you would like a birthday card theme, xmas, thank you cards etc made. If you love the art work then you will be able to buy your child's cards and as a school a portion of the proceeds comes back to us!

3.) Last week for RUN CLUB! Tues and Thurs. 7:45 am...brrrr says Mrs. Hawkings!

4.) October newsletter will come home this week!

5.) PICTURE DAY is coming up OCTOBER 8th.

6.) Parent Teacher Interview Sign up Sheets will be available this week.

If your child's teacher does not have a sheet on the table you need to contact them directly for the times they are able to meet with you.

7.) ASES CROSS COUNTRY RUN is this Wednesday Oct.2. If parents can help us at the run as volunteers please let Mrs. Hawkings know.

8.) CHAPTERS ADOPT A SCHOOL program has been fantastic so far!

Oct.5 is the BIG FUN FAIR for our school at Chapters. If you can bake a cake for the event or help run stations please contact Mrs. Johnson at tjohnson@sd73.bc.ca

WE NEED HELP...even if you can come help for an hour! The fun fair runs 12-4 at Chapters.

9.) FAMILY MATH NIGHTS! Please consider coming for one or all of our FAMILY MATH NIGHTS being held in October. An RSVP slip will come home in the newsletter for Oct. 16, 23, and 30th.

10.) Please remind your children of HANDS TO SELF and HANDS DOWN at school. Also, all children need to be coached that they need to comply with teacher requests by saying OK when asked to complete jobs in the class or change their behavior. Thanks for your support with this.
