The following reminders will be coming home to parents via Synrevoice on Sunday Sept. 22 at 6:30 pm.

1.) Please return school supply fees to Mrs. Scharien in the office as soon as possible

2.) Please ensure all forms- verification, media consent etc are returned to the classroom teacher asap

3.) Thanks to the PAC and all parents that helped make the Welcome Back BBQ a success and a special thanks to all the children that dunked me repeatedly in the dunk tank. A great event!

4.) Our second FIREDRILL is happening this week. Please prepare children for this mandatory practice.

5.) Thursday is the TERRY FOX RUN! Please send $2 with your child. Every classroom has a TERRY CUP to get the donations. We are trying to raise $588 dollars. Please send your child prepared to run on Thursday around 9:30.

6.)RUN CLUB is Tues and Thurs. with Mrs. Hawkings. Please be prompt for 7:45 am.

7.) Chapters has adopted us as their ADOPT A SCHOOL and we have almost $1000 raised already! This runs until Oct. 5. Please take bottles to the NorthShore General Grants as well. Go to Chapters and see our students' writing and visit with our school ambassadors that are there each weekend. On Thursday this week Mrs. Johnson and myself will be on the Mid Day Show CFJC TV promoting the cause with Susan Edgell.

8.) Friday there is no school as it is a NON INSTRUCTIONAL DAY.

9.) Parent Teacher Interviews are coming up in October. Some teachers will have sign up sheets outside the office, while others will have alternate methods to have you communicate about the need for an interview. Stay tuned.

10.) We are working hard at our School CODE OF CONDUCT ROCKS! Please remind your children to play HANDS DOWN!

New tetherball poles went up this week-- all classes in Gr.3-7 are learning the rules and we look forward to the kids having another avenue to play at recess and lunch.

Thanks!

Arthur Stevenson is the best school!
