SynreVoice Message Sunday Sept. 8 5:00 pm
by Carol Robb - Saturday, 7 September 2013, 10:21 AM

Hi Everyone,

This message will be sent to all parents at 5 pm on Sunday September 8th with updates for the week of Sept. 9-13

1.) Thanks for a great start up and first week!

2.) All parents that come to our school over recess/lunch supervisors and myself would ask that you not slink along in your cars or park and watch from your vehicle. Supervisors found it difficult to know if you were a parent or a peeper. Please come out of your car, check in at the office and introduce yourself to the supervisor so we all know who you are what your intent is. This is to keep all children safe and so that our kids don't run to adults in parked cars when supervisors don't know who you are. Thanks for your help.

3.) K/1 PARENTS- class lists will be posted by 8 am Monday for our three K/1 classes. Kindergarten students are still on a gradual entry. All K's should report to their assigned teacher on Monday at 1:00 pm until 2:30. On Tuesday all K's report to school and their teacher 8:30 to 12. On Wednesday, our K's will start their full days 8:30 to 2:30. Partial day plans may need to stay in place for any K's still finding it difficult to adjust, but that will be in consultation with myself and the teacher and those parents will be notified.

4.) Please send inside shoes for gym and labeled gymstrip with your child.

5.) Please return SCHOOL FEES and Pizza with the Principal forms to the office as soon as possible.

6.) Verification Forms and Media consent, walking permission forms will all come home this week. Please sign and make changes and return asap

7.) PAC MEETING is Mon. Sept. 9 at 6:30 in the library. ALL PARENTS ARE WELCOME to attend. Babysitting is provided by PAC.

8.) Firedrill this week- on Thursday. Please prepare your child for this. They are mandatory.

9.) Each child received a waterbottle this week! K/1's will get theirs this week! Remember don't put them in the dishwasher.

10.) CROSS COUNTRY RUN CLUB will have a sign up this week with Mrs. Hawkings. Please talk to your child in Gr.4-7 if they are interested.

11.) Students will be marked late if they are not in their seat by the start of O CANADA and at 1:00 for the start of afternoon session.

12.) If you miss the synrevoice call I always post all information to the website so check right here!

13) ROCKS is being taught in every class. Every child needs to show Respect, Ownership, Cooperation, Kindness and Safety at ASES. We also want students to IMAGINE, BELIEVE and ACHIEVE.

Have a great week everyone.
