Week of September 4th
by Deanna Steptoe - Friday, 31 August 2018, 1:47 PM

Welcome back to school!

Welcome back to school. I am looking forward to working with the students, staff, parents, and community of Arthur Stevenson. We have many exciting things planned for this school year. Here is what you need to know to start the year off...

For students in Grades 1 to 7, the first day of school will be Tuesday, September 4th from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. On that morning, students will be asked to go to their old classes. New students will go to the library.

For our kindergarten students, we have a graduated entry program. Dates and times were sent home by the kindergarten teachers. If you did not receive your notice, please contact the school.

On the second day of school, students will be assigned to a pseudo class which may or may not become their class. We will do our best to place students into their homeroom classes by the end of the week.

See you on Tuesday!

Weekly Update

Dear Families,

Thank you for all the warm wishes many of you have sent my way over the last two weeks. I truly feel honoured to have served as the Principal of this amazing school. Of course, schools by themselves are just buildings, it is the people inside and the people surrounding the outside of the school that make an environment amazing. So thank you for supporting the work that our staff has done over the three years that I have been here. I have been so blessed to see the wonderful smiles of your brilliant kids each day, which is something I will miss very much. If I don’t see you this week, have a terrific summer filled with warmth, happiness and an abundance of laughter.

Grant
