Attached is your electronic version of the newsletter sent home today (April 17th).

It was not until we ran off all the copies of the newsletter that we noticed we forgot to include the Boogie on the Bridge Run under Upcoming Events.

Boogie on the Bridge takes place on Sunday, April 29th @ 8:30 am. Starting line is at Victoria & 3rd.

Our PAC is supporting the cause by setting up a collection box at Arthur Stevenson for running and walking shoes for the less fortunate.

Sole Responsibility is a non-profit organization formed by volunteers who collect gently used running and walking schools to donate to Aftrica.

Shoes must be in good condition with no tears or worn out soles and can be dropped off up to May 18th.

This year's Boogie Run is scheduled for Sunday, April 29th and Arthur Stevenson is once again entering a team of participants. If you want to join our team, go to the The Daily News Boogie Run Website and create a profile. Then look for Arthur Stevenson Cobras. Not only will it increase our numbers but you will also allow you to enter under the school team registration fee which is less than if you entered individually.

To fulfill our gymnastics requirement in the Physical Education IRP, our primary classes are heading to the Kamloops Gymnastic Club @ the Tournament Capital Centre for three sessions.

Dates are: Thursday, April 26th...Thursday, May 3rd...Thursday, May 10th

Times are:
1) 9:30 am => 11:30 am Ms. Mitchell's class, Mrs. Manson's class & 1/2 of Mrs. Hawkings' class
2) 11:30 am => 1:30 pm Mrs. Bartlett's class, Mrs. Caissie's class & the rest of Mrs. Hawkings' class
3) 12:30 pm => 2:30 pm Mrs. Bertoncini's class & Mrs. Jacobson's class
